We’re proud to have played a part in raising $1.4M for DonorsChoose.org at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds annual New York Gala. We directed a special film to tell the story of Bill Ohl, a remarkable teacher from MS 223 in the South Bronx, one of the highest poverty areas in the United States. Mr. Ohl taps into the generosity of everyday philanthropists with DonorsChoose.org to transform the lives of his students through the power of books.
Oprah Winfrey calls DonorsChoose.org “a revolutionary charity.” We couldn’t agree more.
We’d like to thanks Steve and Jamie Cohen (Manhattan Place Entertainment) and Roy Harter (Skinnyman) for generously donating production services to make this project possible.
